I had the pleasure of photographing Caitlin and Jim’s San Francisco City Wedding, They were wed at the secluded Redwood Grove in San Francisco Botanical Gardens. A beautiful, intimate choice for their wedding ceremony, surrounded by beautiful Redwood Trees.
Wedding Preparations
The couple got ready in the iconic Fairmont San Francisco boasting hilltop views of the city.
First Look
After a rooftop first look they travelled to the ceremony in style in a classic Rolls Royce compliments of Penny Chauffeur An attentive and personable ride to and from venues making their city wedding a grand entrance.

Dinner Party
After an intimate ceremony with family and friends we enjoyed the backdrop of the Botanical Gardens for photography then headed over to the Mission District to Lazy Bear, a modern american dinner PARTY where the Bride and Groom and guests enjoyed the restaurant to themselves with a 10 course tasting menu and wine pairings where the chef’s plate each dish right in front of you. ‘Chef de cuisine, Tim Jacob and Taylor Zoller, and founder and Executive Chef David Barzelay concentrate, refine and preserve seasonal ingredients, utilizing both classic and modern techniques, but always without losing that sense of pure deliciousness’.
This was a restaurant Caitlin and Jim had enjoyed previously and were so impressed it was a no brainer they wanted to host their wedding celebration there. Caitlin and Jim’s city wedding was an emotional one with close friends and family, an intimate affair at some of San Francisco’s finest venues and a San Francisco City wedding I will never forget. I left my heart in San Francisco, literally. What an honor it was to document this beautiful couple’s special day.
