Family Session Locations
For full family sessions, any time of the year, to name a few, if you want to go to the beach, the PCH offers so many beautiful beaches and clifftop landscapes. Marin Headlands and Chrissy Field if you want to feature the iconic Golden Gate Bridge. We can visit the Painted Ladies, visit the many beautiful gardens the Golden Gate Park has to offer. I have so many favorite spots both in the city and down the peninsula, Palo Alto, San Mateo, Portola Valley, the options are endless.
For mini session photoshoots I do choose a handful of my favorite locations for beautiful family photos as sessions are short and I book multiple families back to back so a location with all day great light is always key. I spend a lot of time scouting new locations each year, looking at when the sun rises and sunset.

I am a light seeker, a storyteller, people person and most importantly, a mother. I love getting to know you and your kids and have so many clients return year after year from birth to college for one simple reason ‘connection’.
I truly believe ‘connection is key’ when choosing your photographer for your wedding day and so is choosing a family photographer to document your growing family.
I am proud to call many of my clients friends having photographed their wedding then getting to document their growing family. I love getting to see all the kids blossom and grow over the years, it really is an honor and joy to be a part of.

As mother of twins + 1, I have learned patience which is a wonderful quality in my role as your family photographer. As a mother, I also understand how meaningful family photographs are and I am incredibly passionate in providing you with photographs that you will not only send out on a holiday card each year but images you are proud to hang on your walls as fine art pieces.

20 Minutes seems short for a family session! how do you do it?
I have been photographing mini sessions for over 10 years and have the process down to a fine art. You will be amazed at how many wonderful images you will receive from your mini session. Place your trust in me, you will not be disappointed.
I have young children, what is the best time to book a mini session?
You know your child best, I ask that you book a time that best suits your child’s age. After a nap for example or right after you eat breakfast. Mini Sessions are quick and families are scheduled back to back so definitely pick a time when you know as a parent, your child will be at their best. I offer many times throughout the morning and afternoon to accommodate.
what should i wear?
When you book your session, you will receive confirmation and wardrobe tips. Matching color palettes is key. I personally love to pick a pattern for one family member then take from the colors in that to dress the rest of the family in those solid colors and tones. I also have many clients text me before their session showing me their ideas and asking my professional opinion so that I am always happy to share my wisdom.
will you pose us?
Absolutely! You will see from my portfolio, my style is a mix of playful and posed. I have many tricks and tips up my sleeve to grab your child’s attention, make them laugh and keep them engaged. I am also a huge fan of snuggles, laughs, kisses and silliness. As we get to know each other year after year, I know your child’s personality and I get to know you as parents too and that is what I want to capture for you.
